Genie is a purebred Connemara pony - 9 years old, standing 14.1 HH that has been sadly outgrown by her owner. This pony is talented,scopey, has her changes and is very competitive in both rings.
In August 2011 she was Pony Hunter Champion at the Rocky Mountain Classic , shows at Spruce Meadows-Calgary and all the "A" shows in Alberta.
Genie would excell with a confident young rider who has the support of a coach to continue this ponies career. She has no stop in her, does not buck and no vices at all. She travels well to horses shows, settles in and gets to work right away. A busy show environment does not phase her and she is also lovely on the flat and places well in the under saddle classes.
In a recent horse show class in the 2 foot 9 she placed 3rd and 4th out of 29 horses !! Size does not matter as this pony loves to jump.
Genie is very adapatable to her rider and slows down when she has a juniour on board, drop the reigns? Then Genie slows down... or do you have a rider who likes the thrill of a jump off.... Genie knows when the rider is more experienced.
This a a super sweet, safe pony that the judges always comment on with regards to her look, style and scope .
