Lucky Blue
Lucky Blue is a 6 year old green pony mare, 14.0 1/2 hands. She is from the small pony stallion Blue Genes, out of the 1999 Horse of the Year and WIHS Green Conformation Grand Hunter Champion mare Inspired. She had numerous wins in her first year of showing over fences in 2012. She was pony breeding Horse of the Year Zone 10 as a 3 year old in 2010. "Lucy" is a top ribbon in the hack, and jumps a "10". She has a huge stride and is always brave at the jumps.
In 2013, "Lucy" was Champion weeks 2, 3, 5, and 6 at HITS Thermal, Mid-Circuit Reserve Champion for the first half, Mid-Circuit Champion and Full Circuit Champion in the Large Pony Hunters. She was champion in the Large Ponies at the Oaks Spring II and winner of the Pony Hunter Classic, Champion at both Flintridge Spring Shows, and Champion Large Pony and Grand Pony Hunter Champion at the Del Mar National. She was reserve champion and won the Large Pony Hunter Derby at the L.A. National.
2013 HORSE OF THE YEAR in the LARGE PONY HUNTERS-ZONE 10.
