World Cruise
World Cruise
Former Superleague GP Nations Cup horse for Ireland ridden by Shane Breen. Currently competeing in Europe with Alex Duffy. Just placed 5th in a GP at the Magna Racino show in Austria May 22, 2011. He was one of 14 that qualified out of 90 entries.
Vinnie and Sandra Duffy’s ISH was bred by Waterside stud and has represented the country on numerous occasions. He jumped a double clear in the Agha Khan trophy at the 2006 Dublin Horse Show where he was also 7th in the Grand Prix. That year the grey made seven Samsung Super League With FEI appearances for Ireland and was clear in the first round of the team competition at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen before coming down with a lung infection that prevented him from continuing. He is a full-brother to the Di Lampard ridden Master Cruise.
This is another extremely consistent horse who last season jumped clear in 19 of the 24 Grand Prix competitions he contested. Irish show-jumping fans got to see him finish fifth in the Grand Prix at Dublin (where he was also third in the Welcome Stakes), second at Millstreet and Belfast, and win two classes at Cavan International. He was also on the winning team at Linz CSIO and on the squad which came second at Lisbon CSIO where he was fifth in the Grand Prix. “We hope to continue in the same way and be on as many Super League teams as possible and pick up lots of Grand Prix wins.”
