Bonne Amie M

Share

Bonne Amie M is a Balt’Amour-Ukas filly in an eye-catching package. Her gaits, correct conformation, and athletic talent will bring home the ribbons, and she will be a barn favorite with her gentle demeanor. She is microchipped, DNA-tested, and ready to become part of your family.

Handled daily since birth, Bonne Amie M (“Bonnie”) is an attentive and calm girl. Living up to her name, which means “good and dear female friend” in French, she loves attention and was very well-behaved throughout her Westfalen inspection in 2018. She has a beautiful facial profile with a distinctive marking. Her appearance is further embellished with 4 white socks. We expect Bonnie to mature around 16.2 h and to have exceptional talent for the hunter ring. Gorgeous on the flat and stylish over fences, Bonnie will show the winning form of both her parents.

Sire: Balt’Amour (Balta Czar)
The 16.2 h BWP sabino black stallion Balt’Amour earned his stallion licensing at the 2009 North American Stallion test. His scores, which were 9.5+ in the areas of character and rideability, earned him lifetime licensing from BWP, Westfalen (formerly RPSI), and ISR/Oldenburg. He was shown in hunters, where his excellent jumping form and elastic movement brought much success. Balt’Amour has an excellent disposition and is quiet under saddle, yet easily clears 5’ in the jump chute.

Dam: La De Da (Ukas)
Bonnie’s dam, La De Da, was a successful 17 h conformation hunter who retired to broodmare duties. She has produced a number of lovely foals for Maefield Farm, all of which have excellent jumping form and movement. La De Da is a tall, personable and well-trained mare, and her foals have benefited from her calm but devoted mothering.

Bonne Amie M is a gorgeous and athletic youngster. The blend of her sire’s curvaceous topline and powerful hindquarters with her dam’s leg and size provide Bonne Amie with all she needs to succeed. Come to see her in person—you’ll agree that she has beauty, athleticism, and a wonderful temperament!
