Cambria MS

Share

Cambria is a flashy Chestnut mare with four white socks and three balance gaits. She shows great athlete ability in her free jump and movements. In 2015 we decided to breed a few of our younger prospects and in 2016 she foaled a beautiful colt D’Angelo MS.

Cambria was Sired by approved Holstein Caligula ll (Cambridge x Landego x Roman), an impressive stallion with many premium foals. He showed successfully in the 4' Jumper arena before sustaining an injury at a young age that ended his short very successful career.

Cambria’s dam a Westfalan mare called Batavia showed and won many championships on the "A" circuit in the Open Speed Jumper classes under top professional rider Richard Spooner, before being purchased for our daughter Tory Montgomery.  The mare continued her success with Tory taking over the reins in the AO & Grand Prix division till her older teens, then retired to our broodmare herd.

Cambria is currently back under saddle after having a foal in 2016. Cambria is a brave horse with lots of scope to jump and loves to trail ride. Even though she is not a big size in height, she is a strong mare that will make a great horse for someone not having a big budget to spend.  Suitable for a novice rider in a training program.
