Big bodied 16h 13 year old German Warmblood RPSI gelding out of premium mare Rockette, daughter of Robin Z, one of the best show jumping sires in the world. Carter is searching for his best friend.
Carter has had a successful career in jumpers and eventing. He is comfortable up to 1.15m and is currently being brought back into eventing, competing Training level after an extended break in the sport due to rider changes and circumstances. Up til 2018 he was competing Preliminary with a Jr rider.
Carter is an old soul and always thriving to please, greeting everyone with his ears up. He longs for a relationship with his people. It has been a pleasure to get to know him and I look forward to finding his perfect match.
To ride, Carter has a big powerful stride, clean changes and the perfect size engine for a confident kid or AA. You can put your leg on him comfortably and his barrel can take up a tall riders long leg quite well. He is a stout boy with dinner plate feet. He is not spooky however he is very aware of his surroundings and is not the dull passive type. He does not buck or rear. He loves adventures and thrives in the show ring.
Carter was a stallion until 2018 when he was gelded so a young rider could compete him FEI. He is a gentlemen however and stabled next to a mare. He also has some lovely offspring offered for sale here in CA and at Storybook Farms in Oregon.
He is a sound healthylow maintenance boy. Current Xrays available for your vet to examine. Honest sellers looking for this horses person. His happiness is priority.
