Carter
Jumper, dressage, ADVENTURE buddy! 16 hand,14 year old German warmblood RPSI gelding out of premium mare Rockette, daughter of Robin Z, one of the best show jumping sires in the world. It has been an absolute pleasure having this sweet boy in the barn, but alas he needs to find his forever person. At Galway last winter after a phenomenal XC run in open Training, Carter unfortunately came back with a quarter crack in his hoof. We allowed his foot the necessary time to grow and now he is back to work and feeling better then ever. Some fun facts about Carter: *after almost 5 months off my first ride on him was bareback, no lunge just hopped on.. Talk about trust... * also after 5 months off, his first outing was the beach (his first time) and he marched right into the ocean. * anyone can ride Carter. He is a kind soul and knows what kind of rider is on his back. *he loves trail riding and has extensive experience on trails. * dressage judges love him and rails are not in his vocabulary. Although Carter has a ton of event experience through the Preliminary level we feel that he would be most happy in the jumper, dressage, cross country schooling and being an "all around " type horse for someone. He has so much to offer in these departments. However, with the right person lower level eventing could also be fun for him again. This is a very special horse deserving of only the best home.
