DAIQUIRI - Mare; 16.2hh; Chestnut; DOB 07/02/2012
Sire: Rubignon, Oldenburg (Grand Prix Dressage Stallion); Dam: Ms. Chesapeake Bay, Reg. TB (Outstanding Show Hunter)
EXCELLENT PROSPECT: HUNTER/JUMPER/PLEASURE/DRESSAGE/EVENT HORSE
She would be very suitable for a promising junior wanting to "move up", or an Adult Amateur wanting to "shine".
Daiquiri is a lovely, quiet, uncomplicated mare. She is very athletic, graceful and elegant. Her disposition is exceptional. She ties, bathes, clips, loads in a trailer, stands quietly for the farrier. She is good to ride with other horses and is always pleasant. She has been hand-raised and professionally trained at Shandoni Ranch. At six years of age, she is ready to go out into the "show world".
She has a lovely face, striking over all appearance, and a beautiful “copper” color.
Daiquiri showed in her first show in dressage in 2015 before she was even 3 years old.....walk, trot , canter and did very well. In 2015, she was shown over X Bars and 2 ft. hunter jumps, placing first or very well at a schooling show. In 2016, her first show away from home, (the rated Rancho Murieta Halloween Show), Daiquiri placed 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 8th in the 2'0 and 2'3" Hunter Divisions, (12-29 horses) and won 2nd and 1st in the two Under Saddle Classes (9-14 horses). She was Champion Low Hunter at the Shandoni Ranch Schooling Series.
She is an amazing "young horse".....lead changes and super disposition in the ring.
Daiquiri is very handy, and loves a challenge in turning and jumping higher jumps. She is now schooling up to 3'3" with much talent and scope for bigger jumps
She could make a fun, safe, and winning jumper for the right rider.
The last picture for Daiquiri is Ms. Chesapeake Bay Dam of Daiquri
