Deep Impact was bred and reared by the GHC partner in a pleasant, care-free environment. He impresses with three fantastic basic gaits, of which his expressive trot is particularly worth mentioning. This gelding also has great jumping talent. Due to his large conformation, the GHC partner gave him plenty of time to mature and first presented him in a competition as a five-year-old.
Achievements
At his competition debut, this gelding was immediately placed in a dressage test for young horses at novice level.
Character
A very well-behaved young horse which - despite his size - responds to subtle rider aids. He also has a confident command of the flying changes.
What sort of rider does the horse need?
A wonderful amateur horse for dressage or US hunter sport.
One of Deep Impact’s half sisters competes successfully in hunter sport in the USA. His dam has been successful in dressage sport up to advanced level.
