Harlekin 392
Harlekin 392 "Harley" is a picture perfect black gelding complete with four white socks and stunning conformation. He was imported in May of 2023 for a junior rider. Once imported he was brought along in the hunters and equitation by his junior rider in a program. Harley has an excellent forgiving character and has excelled all the way to the 3'6 hunters and equitation at his young age. In europe he was competed through the 1.0m-1.10m jumpers and ridden by juniors. Here he has taken his rider through her first (and his first) 3'6 equitation course and national derby.
He has three-comfortable gaits and a nice step, light push/spur ride, he has very easy auto change both directions. He has a soft mouth, easy jump and an uphill way of going. He does not have any vices or naughty behavior.
He is brave to the fences, but he does need a semi-accurate rider at the larger fence heights as he is still green and learning himself, but he is kind and easy-going. Excellent brain. He requires very limited prep at the shows and none at home to be safe and suitable for a junior or amatuer rider. Great personality and safe to handle on the ground. Harley has excellent advanced flatwork so would excel in other disciplines such as dressage or eventing.
He has led our region in the NCEA Medal class this year and received numerous top awards in the 3'3-3'6 equitation and hunters nationwide.
Harley is sadly available only because his rider is off to college.
