Mona is a one of a kind pony looking for her partner in crime.

Her ideal candidate is a petite , confident and patient rider who wishes to do a little of everything and bond deeply with their horse. This is a true best friend.

Mona has experience in dressage, jumpers , eventing and trail riding , including the beach. She has been ridden by tons of different people and gone on So. Many. Adventures. We truly feel she is happiest as an all around adventure pony doing a variety of fun things rather then focusing on jumping and showing constantly. Her happiness is priority so her price has been drastically reduced and we've switched gears with her training. As a result I have a very happy pony that I can put any of my riders on ready to fly the nest.

Mona was intended to be a large horse (both parents are well over 16 hands) and her bloodlines are impeccable (for big time jumpers and eventing) however with Monas small stature we do not feel it is fair to push her past her physical capabilities.
She hunts her fences and over jumps by a mile so she is NOT appropriate for children, beginners or timid riders to jump. Mona has a huge canter stride and is short coupled so her canter can be challenging for the less then average rider.

Mona enjoys trail riding quite a bit. She is fabulous with or without other horses . She can spook, but is genuinely curious about her surroundings and wants to march up and investigate whatever it is that scares her.

Mona is a gorgeous mover and could do well in dressage, however she goes happiest in a hackamore or just a halter. I ride her in a bit 2x a week , but the rest of the time we go bitless.

Mona has impeccable ground manners and the kindest personality. Hands down my favorite horse to be around.
