Every now and then you come across something very special…. and that is Nevero. He is just 5 years old, so quiet and simple the sky is the limit. He just started over fences when we imported him from Chile in mid February, 2014. I brought him up after watching a 12 yr old girl ride him as a stallion in a huge green field in Chile with a bunch of mares. I saw “Children’s Hunters” written across his face, although he had not been started over fences yet.  When I got him here, I was dumbfounded with his willingness and ability to jump, derby horse in the works just over the horizon.   We gelded him before bringing him up from Chile, and he very sound with clean radiographs.

Here is the timeline:  arrived in Tucson mid-February importation/quarentine in Miami, started over fences.  Beginning of March took him to Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ for his first horse show.  Jumped around baby green like a champ, 2nd's  and 3rd's.  Then we explored his willinness over natural obstacles, you will see in the video on a cross country course.  All of this video is FIRST time over everything, height is up to 3'6".

His gaits are as smooth as silk, I have never needed to lunge him, he is very uncomplicated.  Lead changes are almost automatic at this time, he is a quick learner.

Oh yeah, he is pretty too!
