Extremely attractive black 2005, 15.2hh Holsteiner gelding with all the chrome and personality. USEF 5097503 Ocean is extremely versatile in all three rings, and he has competed up to 1.15m jumpers, however more recently, his rider has focused on the Hunters and Equitation up to 3’3”.
Owned by junior Hunter/Equitation rider for the past 5 years, Ocean took this timid pony rider to Year-End Leading Junior Rider for two straight years with LEG and was Year-End Perpetual Carousel Derby Winner. Together this pair has won multiple ribbons and Championships. Super fun, easy to the jump and just a lovely Hunter/Equitation ride. Very handy, honest, with a good eye and easily gets down the lines.
Ocean is Californian born and bred: Ocean I x Caretino x Caletto II. The Holsteiner stallion Ocean I is by South Pacific out of Rene’ by Ramzes, he combines the three famous Grand Prix jumping blood lines of Silbersee, Cor de la Brye’re and Ramzes. Caretino (Caletto II) was another foundation stallion who jumped at Grand Prix level and produced many breeding stallions and Grand Prix jumpers.
Charming to-a-fault on the ground! Good to shoe, bathe, groom, load/haul. He loves to work and is always happy to see you. Family is regrettably offering for sale as daughter is off to college. Clean recent X-Rays and UTD on everything. Very motivated seller.
