Preaching Trainer

Hickory is a gorgeous 2016 (9 year old) 16.2 Thoroughbred gelding by Lucky Pulpit. He raced successfully (JC: Preaching Trainer) until he was 6 years old, and has been with me since his restart after the track. Since then, he has done a bunch of different things including dabble in Intro level dressage at the Thoroughbred Classic @ LAEC, haul off property to gain experience in new arenas and at local schooling shows, participate in IEA practice with middle school and high school aged kids, and has started popping over fences here and there. He has a funny, goofy personality (all of the teenagers love him) and is absolutely beautiful (we drool over him daily). Since he is still green, I am seeking someone with experience training horses or someone who will be working closely with a trainer. I am NOT interested in selling him to someone looking for a project to resell. I believe he would be best suited for eventing, jumpers, or a job where he can go on trails and be ridden on the flat for fun. I have a lot of balls in the air, and he keeps getting placed on the back burner. He’s a nice horse and deserves someone who can invest in bringing out his potential!
