Our team in the Netherlands is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic horse(wo)man who is looking to gain experience at a large sales barn with the oppertunity to ride. We have over 50 sale and competition horses, ranging from young horses to FEI. We are searching for someone who:

- wants to learn more about a  large scale sales operation

- wants to get hands on experience with competition horses; young horses to FEI horses

- is looking to gain experience working with a large team in a multi faceted operation

- wants to improve their horsemanship and riding

- would like to attend and groom at national and FEI competitions

- would like to experience the European show jumping culture

- has a positive attitude, good work ethic and initiative

You will be expected to:

- assisst with all day to day activities with the horses which includes: grooming, feeding, tacking up, lunging, going to competitions etc. (no mucking stalls!)

- work with our existing team and come every day with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic

- 5 1/2 work day per week typically 8.30am - 5pm (when we are horse showing, sometimes it is earlier or later!)

In return you will get:

About the farm:

- state of the art facility with two indoors, two outdoors, walker, grooming and wash stalls, gallop track etc.

- over 50 sale/competition horses competing from the Young Horse age classes up to the 1.60m and Nations Cup

- stud book testing for the Friesian Studbook

- hosts national dressage and show jumping competitions
