I was born into breeding and performance horse family, so I have been with the horses my entire life! Competing since 1965, training horses for over 38 years now. Breeding, teaching and competing on the west coast "A" circuit, I have spent decades using training methods from various disciplines, garnered from some of the best in the world, avidly educating myself whenever possible. Developing hundreds of horses with my empathetic directed techniques from "day one" training, to achieving high performance levels, several became noted Grand Prix showjumpers. I can say that working within the T.B. breeding industry for almost 20 years developed a love for them and have since worked with many OTTB horses. My breeding program consists largely of European lines and T.B. crosses and have to date produced some very nice performance horses. I teach at home as well as outside clinics and my writing been published on the subject of horsemanship and the training methods I have found successful, focusing on the American forward riding system. Certified by the USHJA as a professional trainer and a member of USEF, USHJA, FEI and USET foundation associations.
