Celogio (known in the barn as "Hans") is a sweet personable guy looking for his next partner! Hans was imported for a young rider in my program to compete in all three rings. He has done just that and taken her from the 2' hunters all the way to the 3' hunters/eq and .95m jumper classes successfully! He was then sold again in the barn to another rider who he took from the 2'3 - 3' and successfully was champion or reserve champion at large rated shows in the Childrens hunters and equitation!

Hans is a nice kick-a-long ride and a comfortable horse. If asked to be he can be nicely forward for the jumper ring and enjoys a challenge, he will make all the inside turns and is careful enough to win. He always picks a safe and smart distance at every fence (even if the rider doesn't) and always lands his leads. He has a good stride and has competed through the 3'3 hunters with scope to spare. He has a good lead change both directions, but does require to be asked for them they are not always auto.

Hans is easy to handle in the barn  and on the ground. He is great for the farrier and the vet and simple to load, clip, etc. He has no vices, maintenance requirements or special care or feed needs. He has been in a full and half set without issues. He vets well and we have old x-rays we can provide.

Hans does require prep for the hunter and equitation classes. He can be a bit spooky when alone in the show arena. It is never about the jumps and he is not a stopper at all, he will jump fire if asked. But, he does have some anxiety in the show and will act worried sometimes. He is never dirty or unrideable but he does require a hack in the morning and/or pro rides on the first few days of the show are helpful. Certain venues he is a champ and acts like an old pro, other venues he is a bit on the anxious side being alone in the show ring, but again it is never about the jumps he is brave to the fences. He is not spooky at home and is on a program of 3-4 rides a week 1 of which is a pro ride.

Hans would thrive in any ring and would also make an awesome dressage or eventing horse since he has all the flatwork and is brave!
