Felix is a 2017 Chestnut gelding. Approx 16.1hh. Raced 3 times and retired sound with no injuries after his last race April 2021.
Felix has done W/T/C under saddle and is currently doing light lunge work due to time constraints. (I’m riding/ training everyone else's horses, and have no time for my own horses) When he is in work he is very focused on his job. He goes nicely on the contact in all three gaits and has a balanced canter but still has some difficulty picking up his left canter under saddle when he was in work. He has lunged over cavalettis and poles and his natural instinct is to drop his head and lift his shoulders, so should be a very good fit for the hunter/jumpers. But equally would be great in pure dressage or eventing. He is not spooky at all at things in the arena, and doesn’t seem bothered by signs or jumps. He has been off the property for weekends away and handled this well. Traveled well, ate, drank and was just like he was at home.
