Tater Tot

This large pony is a kind and intelligent animal but she has a past.  She was rescued from a kill pen before coming to us and carries some trauma from that experience.  She is sweet and eager to please but is sensitive.  She is looking for someone who is patient and will take their time and proceed slowly with her.  She has been under saddle with a young professional since April/May 2023 and is clear on aids, has easy lead changes, and is coursing small hunter/jumper courses.  She has been to a local schooling show and did surprisingly well with all the sights and sounds and seemed to understand the situation.  She is not mareish and gets along well with other horses.  She is sensitive to stress and needs a calm, patient, quiet handler/rider to bring her along at her pace.  She takes some time to trust but is very sweet once you win her over.  She is not a child’s pony. Price is negotiable as we insist on her going to a great home where someone will take their time with her and bring her along properly.  This is not a pony for someone in a rush to ride and get to shows but is priced accordingly. She is up-to-date on vaccines and dental and is barefoot.  Perfect longterm home required.  She is located between WEC and HITS in Ocala, Florida.
