Waylon

Waylon is an incredibly sweet and athletic gelding with an excellent amateur friendly temperament. Had 3 starts on the track as a three year old and has since primarily been used as a leisurely trail horse--having logged trips to the mountains with beginner riders on his back. He has been in full-time hunter jumper retraining since September 2021 and is proving to excel at this job with loads of untapped talent. Waylon has beautiful movement, with three lovely gaits and a fantastic rhythmical 'rocking horse' canter. Started over small courses, he is proving to be brave and straight forward to the fences and jumps with beautiful correct technique. Waylon could excel in any direction, however, with his lovely rhythm and perfect front end o/f he would shine in the hunter ring. He is light in the bridle, not spooky or hot, no bolt, buck or rear and has excellent ground manners. Waylon is still considered green broke, however, he is a very kind and easy going gelding that could easily be finished by a capable junior or amateur. Please contact for more information and video.
