Westwind is a big horse with a huge heart. He has travelled all over Europe teaching Juniors, Young Riders, Amateurs and up and coming professionals the ropes of upper level dressage. He has been the stepping stone for 3 professional GP riders that is now making a mark for themselves on the international circuit.
He has shown GP since 2011 and been on the Italian YR team, where he won gold in the Team competition. He has competed in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Hungary … and that’s only per his FEI record.
Even though he is a very big horse, he does not ride big. He is light to the aids and rides like a smaller horse. He is a Jazz offspring, but he does not have any of the bad qualities some Jazz offsprings have.
This is a been there, done that horse. A horse that is very hard to find. He has no vices, travels well, same at shows as at home. He is ready to bring his next rider to the top levels.
