Seraphine M

Seraphine M (“Angel”) is a 2015 Hanoverian filly by Sir Wanabi and out of a lovely Hanoverian-approved Thoroughbred hunter mare. Born and raised on our farm, Angel was professionally started under saddle (walk-trot only) in 2017 and is progressing well with her basics. Angel has been a compliant and thoughtful pupil. She has an athletic build and a lovely long stride. We expect she will mature around 16.2 h.

Seraphine M is branded and has full papers from the American Hanoverian Society. She has lifetime registration with the USEF.

Sire: Elite Hanoverian stallion Sir Wanabi (Santorini-Lortzing) has produced numerous talented offspring that compete in a spectrum of disciplines—hunters, dressage, and eventing. Sir Wanabi has had great success in both dressage and hunters, winning many championships. This 17 h black stallion was produced by the highly regarded breeding program of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which places great emphasis on temperament and rideability. During his 100-day test, Sir Wanabi received scores of 10 for character, 9 for temperament, and 8 for all other categories. He was the Champion Stallion twice at Dressage at Devon and a multi-time winner at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Sir Wanabi is known for producing well-conformed, athletic offspring that also inherit his lovely temperament.

Dam: Thoroughbred mare Clouds End (d. 2017)was approved by the American Hanoverian Society. Cloud had an exceptionally pretty head and neck as well as great form over fences. She competed in hunters before transitioning to brood mare duties. Cloud had a commanding presence and held the attention of everyone—horse and human—who saw her. She produced many fine foals in her lifetime.

Angel is a calm and well-mannered filly. She has been handled daily since her birth and was lightly worked as a 2 YO. Angel is continuing her training under saddle this year as a 3 YO, and is ready for your program. Her breeding, character, and athletic abilities portend a great future for our Angel.
